HED® International Calcining Furnace Upgrade Doubles Production

HED International recently commissioned an upgrade of a calcining furnace in Charleston, S.C. with the addition of a new combustion system, a ceramic muffle, PLC & touchscreen HMI control panel.

"The result is a furnace that is performing great, firing uniformity is excellent" said John Steele, HED Project Manager. "We're pleased that production has doubled without much more fuel consumption, everyone is breathing a lot easier now that the air is cleaner because dusting is no longer a problem from this furnace!"
